Reliable, traceable visual evidence.
Keep timestamped, geolocated captures linked to each session to document your diagnostics and interventions.

Three things that make your captures reliable
For field technicians
The technician certifies installation compliance with an indisputable geolocated photo.
For customer support
Archive visual proof that the equipment was already damaged on arrival or before the call.
GPS Geolocation
Each capture includes exact GPS coordinates of the intervention, certifying the presence of the client or device on site.
Universal Timestamp
The UTC timestamp is embedded immutably, eliminating any ambiguity about the precise moment of the observation.
Evidential value
GroundCam captures are accepted in expert reports and insurance claims. GPS and server timestamps โ tamper-proof.
Why a WhatsApp photo is not enough
In a professional context, a photo or screenshot only has value if it's accompanied by reliable and tamper-proof metadata. That's exactly what GroundCam provides: every capture taken during a session is automatically enriched with three layers of certification.
Certified GPS geolocation
The exact coordinates of the client's device are recorded at the time of capture. This data comes from the smartphone's GPS and is embedded in the image metadata in a tamper-proof manner. For an insurance expert, this proves the photo was taken at the claim location. For a maintenance technician, it confirms the intervention was performed at the specified address.
Immutable UTC timestamp
Each capture is timestamped in UTC format with second-level precision. This timestamp is generated server-side to guarantee its integrity, regardless of the time configured on the client's device. It's an essential element for establishing a precise chronology of events during a dispute or expert assessment.
Complete session traceability
Each GroundCam session generates a unique identifier. All captures, annotations, and recordings are linked to this identifier. It's therefore possible to reconstruct an entire intervention, from the first connection to the last capture, with a complete and verifiable history.
These elements constitute a robust digital evidence file, acceptable in expert reports, insurance files, and compliance procedures. They advantageously replace traditional methods (photos sent by email, handwritten notes, phone descriptions) by offering unprecedented traceability and reliability.
Frequently asked questions about certification
- Is GroundCam evidence legally admissible?
- GroundCam captures constitute digital evidence enriched with certified metadata (GPS, UTC timestamp, session identifier). While they don't replace a sworn expert's report, they provide a level of traceability and reliability far superior to photos sent by email or WhatsApp. They are accepted in the vast majority of expert reports and insurance files.
- Is the geolocation accurate?
- Accuracy depends on the client's smartphone GPS. Outdoors, accuracy is typically 3 to 10 meters. Indoors, it can decrease to 10-50 meters depending on the building and GPS signal availability. Coordinates are recorded at the exact moment of capture, not at the start of the session.
- Can the captures be tampered with?
- Certification metadata (GPS, timestamp, session ID) is generated and signed server-side at the moment of capture. It doesn't depend on the client's device and cannot be modified after the fact. The UTC timestamp is guaranteed by the server, regardless of the time configured on the client's phone.
- Is GroundCam GDPR compliant?
- GroundCam was designed in compliance with GDPR. The client doesn't need to create an account, no personal data is stored on their device after the session, and session data is hosted in France/Europe. Companies can configure data retention periods according to their regulatory obligations.
